Description
Blue, worsted wool Battle Dress Air Force tunic. Shirt type collar with double breast patch pockets with button flaps. There are 7 plastic buttons down the front centre with button holes concealed by an inner lining down the front. The cuff buttons are also concealed. The short-waist tunic has a 250 mm extension to the waistband which forms a front belt. This couples to a short 50 mm cloth belt and buckle on the other side of the tunic. The epaulette has each shoulder button at the neck. The epaulettes are made of the same fabric as the tunic. There are 2 white stripes on the epaulettes. The order of the stripes is black/white/black, black/white/black. The inside of the tunic is lined with a felt material. The inside collar and front seams are lined with blue denim. The opening to the top of the sleeve is piped with white tape. The internal breast pockets are made of blue denim cotton.
