The breast pockets have scalloped flaps with dome fasteners in each corner. The hip pockets have large rectangular flaps. There is a vertical entry opening to an internal pocket. The opening is in the left front facing behind the breast patch pocket. The garment is fully lined with a purple cotton/satin lining. The fabric badge or brevet above the left breast pocket is a pilot's badge. There are 2 stripes around each sleeve about 80 mm from the sleeve cuff. The stripes are identical and the pattern is black/light blue/black. The waist belt is of wool and is sewn onto the tunic along the back. The belt ends in the front are not attached. There is a brass buckle with 2 pins on one end of the belt; and on the other end there are 4 sets of 2 holes. These holes have been hem stitched.
