Description
Ribbon and medal - 1939-45 Star. The ribbon has 3 vertical bands of colouring - blue, red, light blue. The ribbon is folded in half - twice. Through the bottom of the ribbon is a metal ring. Attached to the metal ring is a 6-pointed, bronze star. In the centre of the star is the monogram GRI VI. The letters are surrounded by a circular border. Inside the border is the phrase: THE 1939-1945 STAR. At the top of the border is a crown.
