Description

War Medal with ribbon and medal. The ribbon has vertical stripes with the colour sequence of red/blue/white/red/white/blue/red. The ribbon is folded in half - twice. At the bottom, is a silver bar that attaches the ribbon to the medal. The obverse of the circular medal depicts a lion attacking a Griffin (Gryphon). On the reverse, is a profile portrait of King George wearing a crown.
