Description
Silk escape map - double-sided. One side depicts a map of Italy with an inset map of the Swiss frontier. Rivers and place names are indicated in black, roads in red and international boundaries in green. The map has a black border. 'J3' is written in each corner. There is horizontal number scale of 7.15 and a vertical scale of 40-46. On the reverse is a smaller map of Southern Italy with an inset map of Sicily. Rivers and place names are indicated in black, with roads in red. There is a black border around the map. The top left corner (if map oriented N), reads J4/J3, but the other corners read J4. There is a horizontal scale of 12° - 18° and a vertical scale of 38° - 42°. The map of Sicily has a horizontal scale of 13-15 and a vertical scale of 37-38. All maps are on a cream-coloured, silk background.
