Description
"Douglas" combined Protractor and Parallel Rule and case. -1 Protractor and Parallel Rule. Square ruler with a transparent, yellow colour. Intervals are marked with black lines around the perimeter of the square. There are 2 sets of numbers indicated at certain intervals. There is a square grid in the centre. The instrument has a hole at the centre. There are various pencil markings on the protractor. The protractor has a bevelled edge. -2 Case - square cardboard, sealed on 3 sides with an opening at the top. There are 2 holes punched on one side with a piece of cotton tape through them. On the opposite side is a cardboard disc (to tie the string around). There is a blue pen mark on one side. On each side, is a paper label with various instructions. One label has a crown on it, flanked by the letters A M. Underneath it reads: STORES REF. NO.6B/47.
