Description
Yellow, cotton, sleeveless life jacket, RNZAF/RAF. The jacket has a release lever of stainless steel on the right breast. There are inflatable bags in the left as well as right breast linings. A length of rubber tube enables the wearer to inflate the vest manually. There is a padded neck or head rest. This head rest has a zipper but, unfortunately, it is seized shut so it cannot be determined as to what is in the pocket. There are waist tapes, tapes that are fitted to the back of the jacket and pass between the legs to tie in the front. There are tapes which tie across the chest. The tapes are made of canvas. The label is located inside the jacket between the shoulders. There are 3 brown plastic buttons and button holes down the front opening.
