Description

A metal carpet beater consisting of two metal hoops made from twisted double wire. Joined to a wooden handle by an aluminium band, impressed with "The Kindley Carpet Beater. Patent No. 319494". Handle stained orange with narrow leather strap. The two hoops were originally joined by a black rubber band, now broken.
