Description
-1 Reel to reel, portable, stereo tape recorder, rectangular, silver metal casing with a black plastic front display function panel. The lid is hinged to provide access to the tape deck. The lid has a tinted Perspex window. The function panel has 2 circular windows with Perspex covers. These cover dials graduated from 20 to 3 in black markings and from 0 - 3 in red markings. The left dial reads "I Peak Level" and the other, "II Peak Level". There are 5 tuning knobs on the panel. These are marked from left to right: REC, VOL, TONE, ON. On the bottom of the panel are 3 metal plugs marked from left to right: Sound, Mic 1, Mic 2. There is a small window on the panel that indicates the tape distance. There is a battery switch, light switch, microphone switch and a tape adjustment switch. On the front, top of the recorder, are 6 push-down silver buttons. From left to right these read: Reverse, Start, Pause, Stop, Record, Forward. On the top left is the speaker outlet grill. The label on top of the unit is black with silver printing. This reads: UHER. On the left side of the case are 4 recessed plug holes marked: Radio-Phono, Triangle, Monitor, Headphone. Under the lid are 2 spaced 50 mm diameter turntables with spindles for fitting magnetic tapes. Inscribed TYP 4200 Report Monitor Registration No.1932 02495.
-2 Case - Black plastic and leather carrying case with a hinged leather lid and metal clasps. The case is lined with a soft brown fabric. Embossed on the case is: "UHER".
-3 Magnetic tape - Tape on a clear plastic spool marked: Made in USA. The magnetic tape is brown. The spool is marked Side 1 and Side 2.
-4 Box - Cardboard tape box, silver and black. The labelling is Scotch Brand, Dynarange 1800 ft./548.6 m 3M. The identity on the box refers: South Island Effects.
-5 Magnetic tape - Tape on a clear plastic spool. The tape is red and white with the name "SONY" printed in a repeating pattern on the surface of the tape.
-6 Box - Cardboard tape box, cream and orange. The labelling is a picture of a tape with the words: Original Master Recording F.F.P. Freelance Film Productions. The index of use reads: BBC Radio Forranto & Tycher, That's Entertainment B.B.C. Pt.1.
-7 Magnetic tape - Tape on a clear plastic spool. The tape is black.
-8 Box - Cardboard tape box cream and orange. The labelling is a picture of a tape with the words: "Original Master Recording" F.F.P. Freelance Film Productions. There are no markings on the index.
