Object detail

Accession number
White and blue circular ashtray. The edges slope inwards and are decorated with 3 horizontal lines that give it a stepped appearance. Also, around the edge at 3 evenly spaced intervals, are 3 protruding triangles whose sides are perpendicular to the base. The tops of these are curved inwards. The centre of the object is a half-circle depression painted blue. The TEAL logo of a stylised bird is raised in white. "TEAL" is written beneath it, also raised in white. The underside is hollow. On the bottom of the depression are 2 words in green. Due to wear, they are difficult to read, but start with "C" and "L".
