Description
Rectangular tin box with hinged lid. The bottom of the box is undecorated while the lid is painted black and white. The exterior of the lid is painted with vertical black and white stripes on the left, and is solid black on the right. On the black half is a black and white image of a man in a top hat lighting a cigarette. Above the image is "Marcovitch" in white; below is "Black & White Cigarettes". In small letters, beneath, is: "Made in England by Marcovitch of Piccadilly". The edges of the lid say: "25 Black & White".

The interior of the lid has the same backdrop as the exterior (black and white stripes to left and solid black to the right). Over the top is painted a map of Eastern Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
