Object detail

Accession number

Description
Square, white fabric bag made of heavy cotton or linen. The body of the bag was made of one piece cloth with seams down the side to form the square. A triangular flap is attached separately and it folds over the opening and closes with a metal fastening. That fastener is oval with a hole in the centre and "Lift the Dot" marked on it. A cylindrical piece of metal attached to the body of the bag goes through that opening to close the bag. On the front of the object is written "Oxygen Mask Stowage". It appears to be written by hand.
