Description
Greyish blue bag. Slightly trapezoidal in shape, with the base slightly longer than the top. There is white piping around the 2 large sides which also features identical decoration. "TEAL" is in large white letters (150 mm x 72 mm). Beneath, in blue, is: "NEW ZEALAND'S INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE" (236 mm x 10 mm). The TEAL logo of a stylised flying fish or Maroro, appears in gold directly after 'Airline'. A metal zipper runs across the top and part way down the sides. Just below, where the zipper ends, a shoulder strap is attached with a round metal clasp.
The interior is unlined except for a rectangular piece of plastic sewn into the bottom. The stitching is visible from underneath. There are also 2 rectangular pieces of cardboard attached just inside the top with metal clasps. These clasps are visible from the exterior 12 mm below the piping. The strap is 550 mm long when the central snap is attached.
