Rectangular fabric package with linen cover folded over the bottom and sewn along 3 edges. One side has the instructions printed in blue under the title: "First Field Dressing". There is a red arrow printed on it that points to the top left corner. Underneath the instructions is the manufacturer's name and date: "T.J. Smith & Nephew Ltd., HULL, July/December 1942".
