Description
Short, pale pink, georgette dress with embroidered bodice and pleated skirt. The neck scoops front and back. The dress is made up of 2 layers of fabric. A heavier cream fabric is underneath with a translucent fabric overtop. The sleeves have no lining. There are pink and pearl-like beads sewn down the front of the bodice which also features an embroidered diagonal line pattern. There is a zipper fastening down the back which also has 3 covered buttons and a hook and eye at the top. A pink braided belt is attached to the waist by 2 thin belt loops made of thread. The outer layer of the skirt is heavily pleated while the lining is not. A maker's tag is sewn into the lining of the back. It is white and yellow and reads: "Colin Cole, Made in NZ".
