This is the lower part or scroll of an "Auckland City Corporation Tramways" "ACT Despatchers" hat badge. These were used well into the Auckland Transport Board and bus era. The top ACT emblem part of the badge is identical to Inspectors badge 2006.78 in the collection and I recall there are photos in the Library collection of one of these being worn.
