Description
Metal badge with the word "Inspector" inscribed on the front. The main body of the badge is made of the letters ATC (Auckland City Tramways Corporation) which interlace each other to form a pattern. There are 3 metal loops at the back to fasten onto the uniform.

Auckland City Corporation Tramways operated the Auckland Tramways between 1919 and 1929.

The ATC stands for "Auckland City Corporation Tramways" which ran the Auckland Tramways from 1919-1928. The badges were used into the Auckland Transport Board era, eventually replaced by gilded and numbered ATB badges.
