Description
A small plastic dark green tiki in original plastic packaging with unbroken seal. Tiki has red eyes and a hole in the forehead for a string to go through (though no string is included in the package). Information is printed on the reverse of the packaging which describes the relevance of the tiki. Inflight giveaway as souvenir.

'NEW ZEALAND'S INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE linking Australia, New Zealand, Norfolk Is.,Fiji, Samoa, Cook Is. and Tahiti' This is stated on the reverse: 'Tiki was a legendary god of the N.Z Maori and symbolic forms appear in many carvings. Representations in greenstone are commonly worn as good luck charms. The tiki is often referred to in Polynesian mythology and his image, in carved human form, is found on most South Pacific Islands to which TEAL flies.' Printed
