Brief History
This computer ran the original Windows 95 software, launched in August 1995. In Windows 95 Microsoft brought together MS-DOS, the dominant operating system on personal computers in the 1980s, and earlier Windows operating systems. Windows 95 featured a much-improved Graphical User Interface (GUI) along with several features that are still key to current iterations of Windows, including the start menu and taskbar.
