Badge displaying emblem of Ministry of Transport- a circle which includes the words 'MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT' in centre, a winged horse and scroll at left, kiwi bird and scroll at right, below circle is 'TRANSPORT OFFICER', above circle is a crown which is half black and red. Animals are cast in silver against a black background, lettering is cast in silver against a green background. Two pins on back with clasps over ends.
