Description
Ladies dark blue bathing suit with white band around sleeves, v-shaped necking, skirt and shorts. Built in shorts which fall below the skirt. Button closure on front left shoulder which has black backing fabric.
Brief History
Mixed bathing wasn’t readily accepted until 1910 with the introduction of the two-piece bathing costume. Costumes with built-in shorts like this one arrived in the 1930s. They became baggy when in the water.
