Description
This PABX is an ALD 20, serial number 161 BDK1001. It has 20 extensions and 5 public exchange lines. Internal and outgoing calls are established automatically. Incoming external calls are handled semi-automatically by an operator using a switchboard. Although Ericsson is a Swedish company, the PABX was assembled in New Zealand by ASEA Electric (NZ) Ltd. It was installed in the Woolworths on Great North Road. As well as the PABX rack (2008.4.1), there is an Operator's Phone (2008.4.2), a Operator's Connection Box (2008.4.3), a Tool Box (2008.4.4) and a Power Supply Box (2008.4.5).
