Description
On the left is a train and carriage at the beginning of the bridge, moving to the right. Below the bridge pylon are two men is suits looking to the right. The bridge stretches across the valley. The first pair of metal pylons are about the centre of the image. The other end of the bridge can be seen in the distance. Forested valley is below the bridge. On the left is forested hill rising behind the bridge and train. On the right in the foreground is a tall tree.

This is actually the Makohine Viaduct near the Rangitikei River and Ōhingaiti township. Not the Makatote Viaduct. Here is another photo in your collection of the Makohine: https://collection.motat.org.nz/objects/80047

There being no railway at Matakohe where I live, the label should perhaps read 'Matatoke'
