Description
Three uniformed men in a dinghy wearing life jackets. Two are standing on the left side of the dingy. The closer man is side on to the viewer and is holding a hose in both hands that is spraying water onto the surface of the ocean. The triangular plume of disturbed water stretches from the foreground to the point where the hose is. The second standing man is further away and his head is turned to face the viewer. His left hand in on a lever that appears to be attached to a large pipe that is bent over the side of the dingy. Between the two standing men, resting in the dingy is a machine. Behind the machine is a third man who is sitting in the dingy. He is mostly hidden by what looks like a section of smoke. This bank of smoke extends from the side of the machine, over the side of the boat and across the water to the right. Harbour or port buildings can be seen in the background.
