Description
Badge presented to Mr W.B. McIntyre as the president of the Auckland Typographical Union. Badge is made out of a copper alloy and is presented in colours of copper, brass, and silver. The badge is approximately shield shaped with various ribbon motifs and decorative engraving. A fastening/hanging loop is attached at the top of the badge. The badge is enclosed in a small flat, square presentation box. The box exterior is a mixed brown and gold colouring. The box has a small push-button latch at the front and is hinged along the back edge. The interior of the box is lined with a royal blue felt/velvet and cream satin. On the inside of the lid is impressed in gold coloured lettering the maker's mark of "Jas Pascoe Jewellers, Auckland."
