Description

Black and white original print. Image is of L E Birch, and group including Mr Corney outside New Plymouth airport. Image is taken prior to group taking a flight in the "Faith in Australia", Charles Ulm's aircraft that had just crossed the Tasman. L E Birch was a ham radio operator who communicated with the Trans-Tasman flight.
