Description
Photographic plateholder made of mahogany with brass fittings. This model is holds two glass plates at a time and is ideal for a stereo camera. Opening by a hinge to insert two glass plates separated by a metal plate with two brass clips to hold the glass in place. Once sloted inside the camera the front panel can be removed by pulling on a leather tab thus exposing a plate. After the shot the panel is replaced and the plateholder is reversed to expose the second glass plate. The panels are labelled '5' and '6' along the broadside and the spine.
