Description
The nose and most of both wings of a De Havilland DH.6. According to the inscription taken in 1920 at the New Zealand Flying School. There are four men standing in front of the plane and one standing on the wing beside the body and behind the propeller. According to the inscription the man on the wing is George Bolt. The two men in front of the curved propeller are facing the viewer. One is in a dark coloured suit and hat, the other is in a light coloured suit and hat. Two men are leaning on the lower wing of the plane. One is in a light coloured suit, the other is in a flying suit and according to the inscription is Bob Johnson.
