Description

Cast iron meter which records Direct Current (DC) usage. Has a rectangular glass window near top with plate underneath. Top of unit is cylindrical, with rectangular base beneath. Base of Meter has a circular cavity running through horizontally. It is similar to meters used by Farmers Ltd, Auckland, until 1951, and on wharf cranes belonging to the Auckland Harbour Board.
