Description
A Type A.1.T.R. high scale/low scale AC Polyphaser Kilowatt hour meter. A rectangular cube of cast iron with a glass window and makers plate on the face. Not many of these meters found service with the Auckland Electric Power Board (A.E.P.B.). They were only imported as a ‘stop gap’ measure when other more popular meters were in short supply. Rated 3x10 ampere, 3x400 volt. 3 phase, 3 wire. Front face has four protruding screws, two at the base of the gas window and two further down the face of the meter. The meter surface is smooth with the singe plaque in the centre.
