Beaney and Sons foundry was not far away from MOTAT, on Arch Hill Great North Road. The foundry was in operation for almost 100 years and closed in 1962. Adam Beaney was my Great Great Grandfather and I am so pleased to see that this artefact has found a home at MOTAT.
