Description
Gargoyle, carved stone. Carved by Anton Teutenberg c.1867, likely for the now demolished Shortland Street Post Office. Includes carved cylindrical hole through mouth (a spout) so the rainwater would not run down the building wall.

Originally stored at Sylvia Park, under the Numismatic Society.
