Marks

Mr Riley father of donor was in charge when it was built. When completed it was the third highest in the world. Mrs Grant as a child walked across before it was opened. There was only one fatality during its construction when a man fell from the superstructure. The photo was taken by the stationmaster of Ohingaiti Mr W H Jarman. The small boy standing on the viaduct was Keith Monk.
