Description
Brown glazed beaker with a tropical beach scene impressed into the outer: palm trees, huts, flowers and sunbathers, with the phrase "AIR NEW ZEALAND knows the South Pacific best". Titian Crown Lynn. Darker glaze than 2013.210 and 2013.209.
Brief History
These beakers were commissioned to commemorate Air New Zealand's South Pacific service and used in first class service. Most beakers are in the honey glaze but some exist in a glassy green. These were produced between 1972 and 1981.
