Description
ICL Computer Terminal, consists of a monitor and a keyboard.
Terminal is coloured blue/grey, light grey, dark grey, white and black and the two parts are wired together with black electrical cable.
Monitor: Has a rectangular face with the screen set to the right of the face and a set of controls on the left. Monitor control panel is marked "ICL / 7181 / vdu", contains button for on/off and roller dial for brightness, counter for 'address'("20") and green light for on.
Keyboard: Standard QWERTY keyboard with brown letter keys and a tangraduating to grey coloured spacebar, green/blue number keys, green arrow keys and black/peach/red miscellaneous keys. Body of keyboard coloured white while the face is black. Marked 'ICL' on front/upper face and "Made in USA and UK / International Computers Limited / England / Type No. 7181-9 / [...] / Volts 115-250 / Phase 1 Amps 0.6 Hertz 45-65 / Made in the United Kingdom" .
