Brief History
Flying Officer G.E. Watt joined the Royal Air Force Small Arms Association in 1934, likely on completing his Officer and Flying Training. In 1936 he appears on the honours board in the Association's Clubhouse for the Small Arms Efficiency Trophy in 1936, top score in rifle and pistol matches. He was made a life member in 1948 and, as a Group Captain, he was the Association's Chairman from 1953-1954. The Association believes he retired in 1955 before moving to New Zealand.
