1. Packaging: White, square front cardboard box, opening at both sides. Labelled on front "Ferns / New Zealand / SOAP" with colour picture of ferns on front, two sides, top and bottom. Labelled on top "New Zealand / 30g net / SOAP". Reverse is labelled near bottom "MADE IN NEW ZEALAND / PEARSON & CRAIG / P. O. BOX 231, MANUREWA."
2. Soap: Circular, flat block of ivory coloured soap with rounded edges and raised image on front. Image of person carrying item above head, surrounded by a laurel wreath and a twisted cord along bottom.
