Description

Sample of 62 bricks made by Monier Bricks mounted on wooden backing board with metal frame, dated 4/1986. Made for display purposes by Monier. Includes Standard brick, flower pot holder, flower pot, product support, Roman, Pipes, Base for Pots, flower pot saucer, knock out end brick. Monier Bricks moved into the former Crown Potteries factory in 1989 and was one of the last brick factories to close in the New Lynn region, an area which was previously the centre of the pottery and brick making industry in Auckland.
