Description
Shield shaped black and white photograph showing a moustached man with short dark hair in military uniform. He is wearing a uniform jacket with medals in a band across his chest. The high collar is decorated with a broad curved leaf pattern. Two cords with knots and other decorations at set spaces run down the right side of his chest. The shoulder has cord with lighter diagonal stripping at the top and a rectangular patch of dark and light diagonal lines on it. The man is looking to the left of the viewer.
Photograph has a silver sheen, a common occurrence in old photographs, and results from the migration of free silver radicals within the emulsion.
