Description
1. Box: Rectangular cardboard box opening at both ends. Top and bottom are green, front, back and long sides are hessian pattern with a gold and green horizontal stripe around middle. On front is "4711 / SIR / SOAP". Reverse is same, but also has small white sticker with "1968" handwritten in blue ballpoint pen. On top is "4711 / SIR / international" and on bottom "no. 4945". On bottom of one long side is black lettering "Rich, creamy lather of / crisp and fresh / fragrance... distinc- / tively masculine." On other long side is similar black lettering in German.
2. Soap: Oval, brown coloured bar of soap with convex faces. Imprinted on front of soap is "4711 / SIR" and on reverse is a small imprinted circle.
