Description
Radio, rectangular with cream bakelite face, gold trim, two green dials on either side of tuner, tuner face is green with white and black text and numbers, four buttons above tuner face. Maker's logo on centre front "PHILIPS". Body of radio is wood covered with brown leatherette. Handle on top is rubber with metal fixtures at either side. Four small metal feet on base. Back has speaker made of cream bakelite. Inside is radio components and maker's labels. Black and white label "MODEL L3Z73T 6v / PHILIPS D.C. / SERIAL40129 / MADE IN NEW ZEALAND BY PHILIPS ELECTIRAL INDUSTRIES"; "EVEREADY BATTERY / TYPE 744 6 VOLTS", another sticker on inside of back.
