Description
Model A dental x-ray machine made by the Ritter Dental Manufacturing Company, Rochester NY USA. Wooden cabinet houses transformer and regulator while the upper arm holds the x-ray tube and metal frame which held the x-ray paper. Handheld timer dial hangs freely on one external side of the cabinet on designated a hook. Exposure times are listed on maker's plate attached to timer dial. Exposure times vary from 1-9 seconds depending on which teeth were being x-rayed and what type of x-ray paper was being used.
