Description

Parachute Auxiliary Vane Type MK. 3. White nylon parachute accessory. Top is square with label in centre "PARACHUTE, AUXILIARY / VANY TYPE MK. 3 / REF. NO. 15A/605" - fabric flares out in circle from top with 'ribs' sewn down body of auxillary vane. Inner structure of part is a large metal spring. Small circle at bottom with strings gathered together at loop at bottom. Stamps present around fabric in black "I.A.C. 64 / R / 7 SEP. 1955"; "I.A.C. 61 / 20 NOV. 1951".
