Possibly at Palmerston North. See https://manawatuheritage.pncc.govt.nz/item/97f53921-4cb2-4e3f-838f-1906ec26a399 for very similar grandstand. Auckland College Rifles did compete at a military tournament there in January 1911, according to Papers Past.
