Description
Black and white original photographic print of a portrait of New Zealander, William Raeburn Green flight officer, and acting Flight Lieutenant at time of death. Green served in Bomber Command, in the 49th Squadron of the Royal New Zealand Airforce attached to the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. Green was shot down when he was piloting a Lancaster JB178 (EA-U), over France on the 19th July 1944.
