Brief History
Kodak manufactured the No. 1 A Autographic Kodak Jr. between 1914 and 1927. The camera was designed for 116 roll film, in particular for Kodak’s special “autographic” film which could be written on by the user. The camera came with a stylus which the photographer would use to write onto the film through a flap that opens at back of the camera. Photographs enclosed in the case with this camera indicate that it was used in the early 1920s in Auckland.
