Description
Bubble sextant. Metal unit painted black. Consists of triangular shaped metal frame with many knobs, dials and switches. Viewing lenses at the back and battery cylinder on the side with two C size batteries still inside. Cylindrical casing on front with counter on side and switches on front. Engraved is "BUBBLE SEXTANT / MARK IXBM / REF No 6B/3139 / BRIT. PATS / 480112 490621 / AND PENDING". Painted in white is, "HH-R 11.50". Engraved is, "SERIAL No 1182/44 / A.N". "SERIAL No. 12644/43" is engraved on the side.
