Description
Hair Roller Set. "carmen 22" brand. This is a heated hair roller set stored inside its original cardboard box.
Part 1: Cardboard box with a photograph on the front showing the plastic case containing the hair rollers and heating element with a yellow background. "carmen 22" is printed in red text along the bottom. There is logo in the top right corner which comprises of a red rose and “carmen” in black across the stem. The thin sides of the box have black text with a white background. "carmen / 22" is printed on the top. The Carmen logo is in the bottom right corner. On the left side, "08.008.8" is handwritten on the side. Above this is printed: “PRINTED IN DENMARK / BR. SCHUR / HORSENS AS / 01 76 20435 1”. The back and top of the box have various images of women using the curlers. Inside the box there is a cardboard insert with a cut-out at the bottom right for the power cord with plug to be stored above the item.
Part 2: Curler set contained in a rectangular plastic box. The box has a clear pink tinted plastic cover with a hinged lid. It has the logo with "carmen 22" on the left. There is a clip on the front in the centre. The base unit is constructed of black plastic. Inside the box is a metal plate which holds the curlers. On the right side of the metal plate is an angled section with a red indicator light and a cream-coloured switch below. A power cord with plug is attached to the bottom right side of the box. On the bottom left of the unit at the back is a printed label which reads “SCANDANAVIAN / DESIGN CENTER / Approved for originality, exceptional / construction, function and quality.” On the underside of the base is a rectangular label. “U.S. pat 3257541 / Pat. All major countries / carmen curlers / […] KALUNDBORG DENMARK”. There is a small circular label to the left with “INSP. / Nr. 7”.
Parts 3-25: There are 22 curlers in total. These are cream coloured plastic cylindrical curlers with a gold ring in the centre with a red dot in the middle. They are in four different sizes. 5 extra-large [3-7], 5 large [8-12], 7 medium [13-19] and 5 small [20-25]. These are mounted on metal rods.
Parts 26 to 52: There are 26 clips used for holding the different sized curlers in place on the user’s head. These clips are loops of metal wire with different coloured tips of colour on the bottom of both legs. One leg is straight, and one is bent. Six [parts 26-31] are pastel blue, eight [parts 32-40] are pink, six [Parts 41-46] are green and six [Parts 47-52] are orange.
Part 53: Plastic wallet. White plastic wallet with the "carmen" logo at the bottom centre. On the back at the top is a clear plastic section.
