Underberg Miniature Bottle.
Brown tinted miniature glass bottle containing bitters. The bottle remains sealed with its original red plastic cap, embossed with a logo at the top. A white paper label encircles the bottle. Black text reading “CONTENTS 2/3 FLUID -OZ. / UNDERBURG / GMBH / RHEINBERG a. NIEDERRHEIN / UNDERBURG / SINCE 1846 SEMPER IDEM / Bitters / Printed in Germany / Original / Fabrikation / [logo] / 3.015-4 / 49% ALCOHOL BY VOLUME / A stimulant for the appetite and known as a / dependable stomachic. It may be used as flavor / in sodawater, cocktails and other beverages. / MADE IN GERMANY / [text missing] aromatic preparation of water, alcohol, roots / and herbs of the genus Gentiana, continuously / manufactured since 1846 for more than 125 years / according to the original formula true to the / motto of the firm “semper idem”” is printed onto the label. There is a tear through the label which has torn away the top layer of it along with text in this area. Someone has handwritten “Original / Fabrikation / UN / [logo]”, in black pen, over it in order to preserve the text in the same style that it was originally printed, including replicating the logo. At the bottom of the bottle, “22 / [logo]” is embossed.
