Description
Original whole plate contact albumen photographic print of Auckland City from a vantage point in Albert Park overlooking Victoria Street towards the Waitematā Harbour.

Center of the image is a Victoria Street with horse and carriages on the road. Signs on buildings advertising Sharland and Company, manufacturing chemists; S. Parkers Corrugated Tank Factory; Sarcood Ewen & Co. Warehouse Men; Luks' Victoria Hotel; Victoria Bath, ran by Robert Roth.
